First off I want to start by saying Congrats to Nicole on your BC. I got permission so I'm posting her pic for you all to see. Isnt she adoroable??

I took my braids out last week ya'll they were looking all kinds of hurt.
I couldnt take it anymore. So I took them out and it only took me oe hour. I put conditioner on the hair and that helped the braids to practically slide right out. I got my mom to twist it for me and I intended to wear them as a part of my protective style challenge that Donna talked about on her blog but I dunno.

These twists arent seeing the light of day. THey are too far apart. Perhaps if they were smaller. In any case the good news is that I got them to stay together instead of unraveling. I used shealoe on them (combination of shea butter and aloe vera) and that is holding them together rather nicely. Normally they are all out by now. So for that I am excited.

This weekend though I wore my first frohawk. I thought it came out kinda nice.

I used PhytoDefrisant to help with the frizziness. It was OK - I don't think I will buy it again. It cost me $26 bucks and somehow it just doesnt seem worth it. It's supposed to cut down the frizziness but on the instructions it talks about straigtening and yeah I wasnt quite feeling that part at all.

love your frohawk, so cute. I've found that using honey after the noo poo cuts down a LOT on the frizzies. Not sure why. I've been using African Wild Honey and that has been better than store bought honey.

Donna - I'm going to try and make them smaller next time around. I think that would help but my mom was doing them and I think she just wanted to be done with me already.

J - I actually brought the curling pudding and the buttercreme. They are ok. I just think the curly pudding makes my hair a little too crips. lol

Goddess - I have been trying to incorporate more honey in my styling. I just dont want to go overboard with it. I have heard thats the miracle product all over though.

the two strand twist is one of my fav styles to wear. but my hair is a bit longer and i usually wear my twists smaller. the twist-out is a good style too.
